PostAdvice - glueing onto canvas

Hi, can anyone recommend how to glue on "bits and bobs" onto canvas - would you go for Superglue or PVA? Just want to glue on plastic/ metallic confetti (the type you may use to decorate a table) - any suggestions?

Needless to say, want it to stay on forever (if forever is possible)

Thanks

I used pva on this one - i forgot to leave the window when i was adding all the wall texture - stones, sand, bits of straw so i scraped a bit off and stuck on a piece of card. varnished over all of it when finished.

If you just want to stick small things on you can add them to the paint if its acrylic while its still wet - i've often done that. I don't know about oils as I've only started using them.
