PostPrinting and mountboard advice please :)

by bluetulip » Fri May 23, 2014 11:50 am

Forgive me but I am a complete newbie and I'm seeking advice. I inked a piece of artwork and have now scanned it into illustrator to tidy up. My friend is encouraging me to sell it. I would like to just put it into a cream or black mountboard (if thats what they are called) with clear envelope to put it in.Where can I get this done as cheaply as possible? Also, to get themprinted as cheaply as possible? Sorry if I sound neive as never done this before :/ x

I'm not sure about 'as cheaply as possible', but larger stationers and bigger branches of places like W H Smiths or Ryman may have mounting boards. Then there is the option of clip frames. Some say these are cheap; nasty, etc - I disagree and you can get one's with clear plastic fronts as opposed to glass fronts which means less glare and much less fragile.
For printing, MBE are fairly good and can print in larger sizes - A2, A1, A0.
