I really like that rich surface texture and the colour range. The surface crackle almost looks like resin or enamels. Very nice.

Intriguing work, I'm exploring materials myself and would be interested to know what mediums you currently work with, and which you find interact well together.

I use a lot of gesso to achieve the textures. I also use various crackle mediums and modeling paste. I like to experiment with application as well as medium. For example, lately I've been scrunching plastic wrap into the gesso, letting it dry, then pulling it out.

Looks like something NASA captured over an alien planet. Love the colours and texture.

I thought of satellite imagery as well!

I find the textures interesting and the three canvases in series look good. I like the copper colour - i thought it was worked metal, first off.

Very cool. The use of texture is reminiscent of my college instructor - Herb Jackson! I have never mastered that style of work but I love it.
