PostMailing list feature - how to use?

by suemclearie » Wed Sep 02, 2009 6:00 pm

Can anyone explain the mailing list to me please?
I thought it might be useful for me to mail out new exhibition dates/venues as they arrive.
I'm going to try asking people to put their e mail addresses in my comments book at the next exhibition if they want updates and thought this tool might be the kiddie.
I've not tried it as I'm not sure what I'm doing... as usual

Also, how do I add my website address to below my notes (with an image) as you do Wendy?

Sue :)

Hi Sue

Re mailing list.

Make a list of all your contacts and previous buyers add them to the mailling lis facility create a email message of your news and pres the send button this will email everyone on the list.

With the link picture I designed it in photo software then used my google blog html editor to change it to html then copied and pasted the changed link into the profiles page on the forum.

It is always easier when actually doing it than trying to explain how I did it if you know what I mean.

Play around with it and I am sure you will crack it.
