How does one become a featured Artist and have work included in if you like this work you may also like section? as it seems the rotatation does not include all the artists only a small section.

Hi Wendy

I totally agree with your comments concerning the featured artists. It does seem that from time to time the same artists are featured and others do not get noticed.

Could it possibly be the 'Luck of the draw' I wonder!

Keep up the good work.

Hal.

I wondered that too??
I will see how it goes this year and if nothing changes will have a rethink as there are so many artists now it is easy to be lost amongst.

That happens with art sites they can get too big.

Wendy, I was the featured artist not long after I joined. ( God knows why).
I at first thought it was a wind-up but no, it was for real. I was asked a selection of questions, sent in a few photos and that was it. They then wrote a piece around the answers I gave. and no, you don't get paid.

Don't ask why they chose me, as i haven't a clue but it probably did me no good (or harm) however you look at it. I was on for a month then gone forever.

Not much more I can add really. I'm sure if you approached them they would take you, if you feel the need for it.

OK. I've been on that too, even when i left TAW. I had to ask them to remove it as they were using my artwork without asking. And I certainly didn't get paid.

Forget my ramblings Wendy, I know the bit you mean now. I haven't been featured there. I was thinking of something else,

I have received an answer, the featured artists are not part of the subsription they are chosen by TAW themselves.
