PostBuying Orginal Art?

by HeidiShriver » Tue Aug 20, 2013 7:59 am

Hi, Could do with some pointers - I've just moved house and would like to invest in some art - If you want to buy original art, where do you start? There's some good stuff out there, but also a lot of rubbish (especially on the internet) and if you're not an expert ie me, where can you get that "reassurance" that the good money you are forking out, is for something of quality.

Hello Heidi,
Buying art from a websit is not easy because you are not seeing the actual item for real like in a gallery. If you would like to look at my gallery site www.kennethclarke.artweb.com
I cover a wide area of subject and media in various styles.
Anything your interested in I would be happy to send more photo,s so you can see the piece from different angles on a wall etc.
I assure you of a reliable service and quality product.
Thankyou Kenneth. 8)

Hi,

Buy what you like.
For now, I wouldn't see it as an investment.
However, I'd check if the artist is consistent and has participated in exhibitions.
